About Manually Uploading Inventory:
Uploading inventory to WarehouseTWO not only gives other wholesale-distributors visibility to a company’s inventory but allows for companies to expand their sales territory. Users can upload inventory by accessing the “+ Upload” tab. In the “+ Upload” tab, inventory can be added, deleted, edited, and exported.
How to Search:
Step 1 - Upload Inventory
- Open the Upload Product page by selecting the “+ Upload” tab in the toolbar located at the top of the page:
Step 2 - Viewing the Upload Product Page
- The Upload Product page gives admin users the ability to add an item, download a template to upload multiple items, edit items, and export existing items.
Step 3 - Adding an Item
- To add an item to WarehouseTwo, users will select “+ Add Item”:
- The “+ Add Item” button will open the Item Information modal where users will enter the Item Number, Item Description (optional), Quantity, UOM, Price, Location, and Community:
- Once all required fields are created, users will select “Upload”.
Step 4 - Downloading the Upload Template
- To upload items in bulk, users must download the Upload Template, which can be done by selecting “Get Upload Template”:
- The template will download as an excel file for users to input the Member Location ID, Community ID, Item Number, Item Description, Quantity, UOM, and Price:
Step 5 - Uploading the Template
- After downloading and completing the Upload Template, users will select “Upload Items”:
- The Upload File modal will appear where users can browse for or drag and drop the Upload Template file.
Step 6 - Edit an Existing Item
- To edit an existing item, users will select an item by clicking on the item number:
- Once an item has been selected, the Item Information modal will open for users to edit the item Description, Quantity, UOM, Price, Location, and Community.
- Users will select “Update” when they are finished editing the item.
Step 7 - Exporting Existing Items
- Users can export the list of existing items using three options: Excel, Pipe Delimited, and Tab Delimited.
- Excel: Selecting the Excel option will download the list of existing items as an excel file.
- Pipe Delimited: The Pipe Delimited option downloads the list of existing of items as a text file where data is organized into rows and columns, with each data field separated by a (|) character.
- Tab Delimited: Exporting the list of existing items with the Tab Delimited option will have the file downloaded as a text file where the data within each line is separated by tab characters that allows for the data to be easily organized into columns and rows that are similar to a spreadsheet.
- Once users have selected an export option, they will select “Export Existing Items” to download the data out of WarehouseTWO.
Step 8 - Deleting Items
- On the Upload Product page, users have the option to delete a single item from their inventory by selecting “Delete” or can delete all items posted by selecting “Delete All Listings”:
