Community Search Settings

About Editing Search Capabilities Communities:

Editing the ability to search a community can be done by an account administrator in the “Settings” section.
Within “Settings”, administrators will use the “Communities” section to view communities that you are currently a member of and request any changes. Removing the ability to search within a community will change your access type to the community from full to post only.

How to Edit Communities:

Step 1 - Access the Communities Section

  • Click on “Settings” in the toolbar at the top of the page.

  • Click on “Account” to load the account section.

  • Scroll down to the “Communities” section or click the “Communities” button at the top of the page.

Step 2 - Edit Search Capabilities Within a Community

  • Click the “Request Changes” button in the upper right corner.

  • The table on the left will list all communities that are available for you to add.

  • The table on the right will list all communities that you are currently in.

  • Use the search bar or scroll through the list of your current communities to find the ones that you would like to change the search ability in.

  • Toggle the “Can Search” option next to the community you want to edit.

  • Once you have finished making edits, click the green “Review and Submit” button in the top right corner.

  • In the Changes modal, you can view all the communities that you requested to change search capabilities.

  • Click “Submit Request” to submit this change for WarehouseTWO administrator to review the requested changes.

  • Click “Discard” to cancel and remove the edits to your search capabilities in communities.
